(Commercial) Scary Woods
« on: 04 July 2020, 11:12:55 AM »
These Scary Woods we've just got in are selling really well.

They are unpainted plastic models, but they come ready built not as kits.

They belong to Mantic Games. They include them in their Terrain Crate sets, but we said 'those trees would be great for Rangers of Shadowdeep, Frostgrave, Oathmark etc'. Ronnie at Mantic then offered to get the factory to run ex-thousands extra of the specific items we wanted so we could package them up ourselves. Ace.

It does mean once they are gone, I'm not sure when we'll be able to get them in again, so if you like the look of them, even if you've no immediate use for them, buy a set now.

Cheers
Nick

How tall are they? Do you have a picture of them with figures for scale?
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

I'd like to know this too, I'm on the fence about buying 12 of these but if they're too small it'll be a bit of a waste.

They may work for a place like Wistman's Wood:
