Formula Mars - Gaslands car teams

I've been watching a bunch of F1 recently and we've just started to play Gaslands, so I got it in my head to do a large project as I am want to do: a set of Formula Mars teams.

The Car
I settled on using the 2 Jet Z car from Hotwheels. It is a fun looking car, has a pleasing retro look and because it is Hot Wheels, costs at most $2 CAD to buy

So off they went into a bath of Simple Green, which although isn't the best for stripping paint, also won't eat the world, cause cancer, etc. A few days later, the first six are clean:

Logos and brands
I've just started to work on the logos and brands for the cars, but I am planning on basing them on some of the more iconic F1 and other racing liveries in the past. A small teaser

I did a test fit today for the transfers - this car is ultimately going to be based on the 1970s Joh Player Special Lotus F1 car. Lots more work to do

Great choice of car, and the John Player Special Lotus was a thing of beauty. Watching with interest!
