Hi I am new to this board, new to historical miniatures, new to Colonial games, and relatively new to miniature painting. My Nom De Plum, Toddville Robbins, was created by brother who saw it on an exit sign and immediately created a Victorian scoundrel known for ruffling mustaches with his uncouth behavior. I have always loved the cool as you like daring do of the Colonial period. I will be asking a lot of questions and occasionally posting pics of my work which is always a bit substandard as my hands shake and I am always in a rush to finish a project quickly enough to actually play a game before I get bored and move onto my next painting project. The following is a the start of Toddville and his Coldstream Guards, Fusilers, or whatever you want to call it. I based it on the 66th regiment in Afghanistan and that is where I intend to start but I am hoping to go to the Sudan and Zululand after this. The following is two weeks work on 24 plastic perry models using all Citadel contrast paints. I am not sure about the Khaki so please weight in and hopefully unlike a gentleman I will not take your feedback as an insult to by breeding and immediatly demand satisfaction. I put the pic as an attachment but let me know if that is not how things are done around here. Also nice to meet all of you. Sorry for the sideways pic and bad lighting. I have a flip phone.
With deepest sympathy
Toddville
