I live in Southfields near Wimbledon, not really played for ages even pre lockdown due to all my usual buddies and I having busy jobs and living opposite sides of London. Where do you normally meet for games?

If this is for me, then I’m in Southfields too :)

We use the Old Sergeant pub just by Southside shopping centre - or at least, we will once the plague diminishes!

If it’s as easy to come outwards into darkest Essex, we play a lot of 28mm Ancients, (Punic Wars, Successors and Bronze Age) usually using Piquet. (game report here)

We either play in one of our homes or at Waylands in Hockley https://www.waylandgames.co.uk/content/22-wayland-games-centre-hockley

I don't have a car so some parts of Essex are a little in accessible for me however, Wayland at Hoickley is easy for me to get to ( on the line from Liverpool Street) and I've been there and used their 12 *6 tables on several occasions

I've never played Piquet- I'd happily give it a try

I've got around 1000 painted Helenic and Hellenistic figures mostly based for WAB, so as long as the basing is not an issue I'd be happy to visit for a game

Base size is not critical for Piquet, melees are fought by complete units not by number of figures over a frontage. I’ll let you know when we are next able to meet up again.
