Metal Match for Airfix, HaT, Italeri, Emhar etc.?
« on: 17 January 2021, 06:24:24 PM »
I've bought some boxes of Emhar's 1/72 figures to game TFL's Through the Mud and the Blood, and I'm wondering that as the officer poses are limited and you need a few officer types, are there any 20mm metal figures out there that will fit in reasonably well with the Emhar?

Cheers

EDIT: doubt I'm the only who's considered this. Has anybody mixed plastic WW1 figures from Airfix etc. with 20mm metal figures?

You could try Tumbling Dice or IT Miniatures.

That is helpful thanks! The metals are definitely chunkier (perhaps unsurprisingly), but I think metal officers will work as "big men" for Through the Mud and the Blood.

Nice mix of metals and plastics here:

SHQ and Fantassin are both good matches for 20mm plastics

Except Fantassin doesn't do WWI... nor SHQ for that matter.
