Orctrader can you tell us which sizes you use in the different Rosemary series that you have mentioned here?

I have been thinking about upgrading my brushes...  I am about through a huge bundle of brushes I
got dirt cheap when the local hobby store closed down.

Yes  :)

Series 33. Pure Kolinsky Sable. Size: 2/0
Series 93. Pure Sable Spotters. Size: 3/0
Series 92. Micro Red Sable. Size 7/0

I always go for the "Short Handles" as I prefer them.  Just be aware that the sizes I use in the series 93 & 92 are very short bristles and may not suit everyone's style/method.

If you going to use sable brushes you will need brush soap, THIS BRAND (scroll down) from Anteociti's is superb.
Brush soap means your sable brushes will last twice as long.

I really like the W&N7's too (not the miniature line). I have a 0,1 and 2 but I rarely use the 2. The 1 is for most work except large areas (I use old cheap brushes for that) and the 0 only for really fine details. I haven't tried Rosemary yet. I use a cheapish bar of brush soap from an artists' shop to clean them. I didn't read your review (I'm sure it's good) because I'm at work and I'm already convinced 8)

+1 for Masters Brush Cleaner. I love the stuff and give it a fair amount of the credit for the longevity of my brushes. I must remember to do an article about it...

I received my Rosemary & Co. brushes yesterday and I was wondering can I clean them with a little bit of dish detergent?

So far I’m pretty impress with the brushes. I will need some time to practice furthermore with them because I’m not used to paint with brushes that have longer, softer hair. They are great though for painting details even with brush size 1 8)

A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

Same here. Having no original thought of my own I sent for a set of WN #7 (000-2). Lovely. Let's see if they keep as long as various claims will have it.
