Caballero Miniatures - my first efforts
« on: 25 July 2021, 04:15:44 PM »
Having had numerous disruptions for work/ real life/ Covid, I finally got a couple of the amazing Caballero Miniatures 3d prints painted up (I apologise that one is an Elf - please move this off the Medieval page if necessary).  There's plenty of words and pics on the blog, including a link for the printing and some comparison shots.

If you don't want to read all that, my verdict can basically be summarised as 'bloody amazing minis' and 'get some'!  :)

Fab work James  :-* :-* :-*

I've just read your blog post and I fully concur, the detail is really astounding!  8)

The conversions you have put together are an inspiration too. Though I must not get too carried away at the moment!  o_o

Marvellous work. Do you happen to know whether Fenland Miniature Scenery plans to produce the full range of Caballero Miniatures' figures? At the moment, only a few items are on the website.

Thank you.  I know that Fenland are planning to carry the full El Cid range but it's not all there yet.  Might be worth pinging him a message.

Yeah, quite a few but from other companies. Made a lot of 3D prints in my old job, but now I'm mostly building my own prints using Heroforge. It's a great move in the hobby, eh?

I haven't got around to trying it out as I was a bit hesitant after seeing some quite odd looking mini's (for Historical that is). Then along come Caballero and it was a "Wow!"  :o moment for certain. Instant conversion!  8)

James: I hope you don't mind me doing this. Inspired by your excellent work I placed a small order with Fenland Miniature Scenery, and I just want everyone to know what excellent service I got. The figures arrived well-packed within a couple of days and they're very nice prints. Based on my experience I certainly recommend Fenland.

Not at all, I'm really keen to see these minis available in the UK.  Good work!
