Tunisia Game at Little Wars in Chicago
« on: 03 May 2022, 02:46:11 PM »
Here’s some photos of the game I ran at Little Wars last month.  I’m pleased to note that it was runner-up for best table in the theme category.  Rules used were Men Under Fire and the game featured a British demonstration against an Italian held town while a US Ranger Platoon attempted to exfiltrate from the town.  A later arriving German recon patrol added to the confusion.

Men Under Fire? Are these the rules we used when we ran "A Bridge Too Far" at Winter War?

Not familiar with the rules so looked them up on board game geek. Sounds "interesting". Sounds like a skirmish game but intended play at company size. Sounds awfully big for individual figures. Curious on your take. This is just from the description in the BGG "home" page.

It’s designed as a low level tactical game.  A single player controls a platoon fairly easily, as squads operate as a unit.  I find it works quite well for larger convention games.  It doesn’t have the simulation depth as CoC but is easier to manager for Company and above.
