Halloween in Arkham (Update: Cultists)
« on: 16 October 2009, 07:40:36 PM »
Hey Guys!
Halloween is coming, so I decided this might be a pretty good reason to finally get my Cthulhu Gamesetting going. Miniatures for that project are lying around my painting box for more than one year, so I pushed the "play-button", listening to a Lovecraft Earbook and started painting.

The Game will be made with my own Set of Adventure/Pulp/Roleplaying/Tabletopgame-Rules (some of you might even know them from my Panama-Project played in Hamburg on this year's Tactica, or at Action in Rheindahlen) and all will be based around a Necronomicon-Tarot Deck and will also be inspired by 'Arkham Horror'.
Because I watched "Dead Snow" last week (THAT IS A HELL OF A GREAT ZOMBIE MOVIE!!), I first went to Nazi-Zombies... every Game get's better with Nazi-Zombies and the chance to kick their asses (yes, this might not be classical Lovecraft stuff, but I will find a LOT of good reasons why there are Nazi-Zombies in Arkham  :D )

And next... some really weird guests from the arkham asylum:

Let's see what I will do the following days...

Many thanx for the feedback.
And here is what a real Cthulhu-Game really need... people who do the "Ia Ia Cthulhu Fhtagn"-Thing all night long:

Tried to do something with light-effects on this one... (first time)

The light effects guy looks good, but I bet he'll look even better if you photograph him with the rest of the group.  The contrast will make the light effects pop.
