Y'know, I only now realized (having not seen the movie) that "Brotherhood of the Wolf" was NOt actually a film about pirate ninjas.
You, sir, are not allowed to attempt a takeover of the solar system until your octopus sobers up.

Yeah, but it's about an Indian Ninja so not too far... :D

Actually nothing to add, but as white knight mentioned my humble trial, here's a link to the corresponding entry in my blog: LINK. The beast suffered from bad lighting on the photos, but you'll get the idea.
If you scroll down, there's also a French officer from Conquest's FIW-range which worked well for the (younger) Chevalier de Fronsac. Admittedly, I've done this a pretty while back, before this beasty story got 'hyped' by excellent miniatures and scenarios. By now I would definitely go for some of the other figures mentioned here - apart from the beast, of course. ;)

Funny.  I just finished watching the movie over the weekend, and went... "HEY!  There are no werewolves in this at all...".  I was told it was a werewolf movie...  :-[

Overall, it was ok.  Not a great movie, very slow in parts, but overall ok in my book. (Glad I NetFlix-ed it)

Yea.  THose Laughing Monk figs are great, but aren't they 32 mm? Is that a little big for 28mm?

I actually love that movie, bought the 2 disc version hehe.  For the 32 mm ones, you can put them on some bases that you widdled away at and they should be ok, but all in all they wont be that much taller.

If for some reason you are confused by what I just said, its ok, I am and nothing seems to make sense atm, in my head or on the screen.  lol
