Using James Morris' forthcoming MIdgard rules and a scenario from WI by Dan Mersey we settled the Northumbrian dynastic struggle of the early 7th century

Midgard is certainly a fun game and seems to give the right feel for the period.

Very impressive looking battle/armies. Tough close fight too, always makes for the most enjoyable games.
