atlantic digital teases peasants
« on: 01 December 2022, 07:53:19 PM »

So it seems peasants are coming to Atlantic digital in the near future.

I like the later period garb. especially the hood and the doublet type jackets.

Those look nice.  Would certainly add to the limited variety of civilians available.

I'm rather excited about the grain flail, myself.

I like them, would have prefer as plastic though!

Possible also would have preferred even more 'later' bits to pin them securely into the Renaissance rather than medieval.

Nice figures, but printing files doesn't cut it for me. I also don't have a 3-D printer. Further, it would be great to have more medieval women and children. Village figures tend to focus on men, yet hardly any manufacturers make enough women and children figures for use in games. Just my observation.

It would have been great if these were made in plastic. I can always use more peasants that aren't the usual blacksmith and co. And I agree with Hitman. There are far too little women and children. Given that the armies already are mostly men you would actually expect to see more women and especially a lot of children around.

I suspect that WA doing 3d files allows them to test the market for some of the more niche figures, before having to go to plastic production. If these sell well enough (and the above comments suggest plenty of interest) then they might look to make a plastic set.
