So, I don't know if you're still following this thread, or if I'm even still in time to make any suggestions on the rules, but... Just in case:
Reading about the re-rolls rather than modifiers in this thread:
https://toofatlardies.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16016&sid=282bc86702618ad94633344c1d3d7f97Something occurred to me; occasional re-rolls feel powerful, rare, and add suspense. However, when they are regularly used in a game (see: most modern GW games), they quickly have a tendency to become tedious.
If I may, an alternative is to add a dice to the initial roll you make for each re-roll you have available, and then drop the lowest dice in accordance with how many you added. So for example, instead of one dice re-rolled twice, you roll three dice and drop the two lowest. This still produces the exact same outcome, and it speeds up gameplay a bit more as you're not interrupting the fun to keep re-rolling that one dice dice again and again.
A minor thing, I know, but hopefully in the spirit of GdA 2E.
