Help! OSL! How do you do that??
« on: May 11, 2023, 04:40:50 PM »
I'm working on a diorama, and thought it would be very cool to have an eeerie green or evil red effect emanating from the stone casket playing over the walls inside the crypt (see picture).

Good idea, but I have no idea how to do it. I only own the Army painter Speed Paints, so not sure those would work for this???

I'd whip up a quick 3d render to see how the light falls within the scene, and then paint that.

I did this one in Blender. It's very, very simple, with almost no detail, because all I'm interested in is how the light falls. I could tinker with the type of light and its exact placement for different lighting effects.

Thank you for the advice, I might try something like that. I have no idea what program etc you've used, but thanks a lot for the visual help.
