There's some interesting things on etsy, the Mad Lord pointed me in their direction recently. The surface finish from these prints is far superior to the wwl planes I've had from Shapeways in the past.

I think you might have convinced me. I've been looking at some Ghouls from Etsy but they only show the Computer images and me being an old cynic thought the reason is that the actual prints aren't that good.

I'll send you the bill if they don't measure up.

Most of the stuff on offer on Etsy these days is resin printed. Shapeways used to offer their services using filament printers (although they might have switched over since; I don't know, to be honest). This would certainly explain the difference in finish between the two.

Nice looking Hornets. Did somebody taxidermy the giant murder hornets from the Pacific NorthWest? You wouldn't have to paint them that way!
