fwiw, Noble Knight does store credit. Depends on why you're selling.

Our local game store, Game Kastle, does flea markets. I was actually able to pick up a lot of bargains when I came in early to share a table with some friends. Funny how much stuff you bring back when you're trying to make space in the gaming closet. :D

I've used Nobleknight a lot for store credit.  Was easier to simply sell them stuff than to deal with anyone else - I sold board games, lot of Zombicide stuff, etc.  They often buy lesser valued stuff, as long as you have something good to package with it.  Nobody wants Bob the Zombie, but Bob the Zombie PLUS Bobby the Zombie, and you're in business....

eBay, once I linked banks, had no issue.  I just notice things don't sell as well, or as often, or even for realistic prices.  Their 'categories' have also gone kind of nuts.  I used to buy a lot of O Scale terrain, but finding it now is a pain in the ass.

My experience was that if you sell something for the first time using the "new" (it's been around for a little while now) procedure, it takes a few days to get paid. This is because the payment system waits until the buyer receives the goods, to ensure you're a trustworthy seller.

But, then, after a successful transaction, the system "trusts" you and you get paid much more quickly.

Wot a complete load 'o bollocks!
I waft off five hundred quid's worth of toys, fleabay pats me on the melon, and says 'good boy', we'll send you yer dosh for 'em sometime soon!
Yer, right!

Yes, that's how it works the first time you use the post-PayPal payment system.

Ive done a lot of selling on E Bay this year, its been ok for me. The time lag for getting paid seems to be day or two.  Maybe there are better ways to sell, but its a familiar system , and you reach a wide market. I just dont have the time to mess about with private sales.
Only had one instance where a buyer just didnt pay, and while as a seller I could relist the item it was a wasted week and there was no apparent sanction against him.  Id always thought a bid was a bid and youd be in trouble.
Im ok with the money going direct to my bank, there was I think more delay when it had to clear Paypal before being available to move elsewhere.
It would have been good to have the choice.
