Phantasmic Sphere
« on: November 27, 2023, 11:39:58 AM »
Just a quick project.
I was reading through the Fireheart Suppliment for Frostgrave and happened upon the phantasmic spheres.  They are described as a Will-o-the-wisp or magical sphere of energy.  I also happened to have a broken ice cube mold that my daughter bought at Tiger.

I figured that I would try out making a full sphere.  First UV resin was used to coat the surface of the mold.  Once set, it was removed, the edges were roughly chipped then a pillar of fishing line was set up again with resin.  After enough were made to do a full sphere they were set together and based.  The book says that three or four should work so I will do another few before I add vegetation on the bases.

Hope you like.

Nicely done, amazes me the things you can see and make from stuff, when I just see broken thing.

Great repurposing and will file it with your other ideas for theft/copying/plagiarising later  :D
