X -Wing Blue Leader May the forth be with you
« on: 30 April 2024, 10:34:57 PM »
I did manage to complete one kit from the Mad March build (over on the Wargamers forum).

The kit was a simple build but very brittle parts I managed to break two laser sponsons when removing them from the frame, one repaired nicely the other not so good. I painted the x wing in my own paint scheme and did not use the decals supplied as they are more sticker like and very thick.

Star Wars Revell 1/112

Cheers

Beaut! The colour scheme looks quite good. I probably wouldn’t have noticed that it was broken and repaired if you hadn’t mentioned it- turned out well in my opinion.

Ah, the original Blue Squadron; technology deprived them of their time to shine for over 40 years, but here at least, is Blue Leader  8)

Nice work, and the wonk on the one cannon can be fluffed away as battle damage of course (he flew through the debris of an exploding TIE and hit one of the solar panels careening off)  ;)
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

How hard was the kit to put together? If I may ask?

Really simple everything has shaped slots so you cannot mess it up
