Belgian Chasseur Uniforms

Can anyone explain what the difference was between line and chasseur uniforms in 1914? From what I understand, they both wore the light blue/grey pants. The line had blue tunics and the chasseurs green, the shako plumes were red and green respectively. Did the chasseurs wear the great coat and if do, were they the blue/black overcoats of the line?

I have a few extra units and was thinking of painting one a chasseur unit. Thanks!
