Some more progress. A rustic shed (concealing who knows what) and some evergreens.

The buildings look particularly good, the lichen on the shed roof is a nice touch. I've tried to do something similar in the past using flock and it looked just like flock yours looks much better.

I didn't realise you'd been recovering for so long, hope you're good now. 

Quick question, can you remember who the manufacturer of Agento Kyu is?

Thanks,I am much better! I used static grass for the shed roof. I apply it by hand and then immediately after rap the under side with the side of my exacto blade. That seems to help to make it stand up a bit better. I thought that Agento Kyu was made by Artisan but I can't find him on their page. He was an eBay purchase.

The tension between the Japanese and the other allies makes for interesting possibilites for a campaign here. I am more interested in what if possibilities for Japanese, American and European troops with partisans and Bolsheviks. There were a couple of good dust ups though between American troops and partisans that would make good gaming.

Thanks for the response on Agent Kyu, not to worry. The static grass looks better than that, good result. I'm just on my way north from Provence in France with a bag full of different lichen, one of which is a fine thread like specimen and looks just like your roof. I'm hoping to stick some on a couple of my buildings and see how well it lasts.

I am back in Siberia after concentrating on China and other esoterica. My change in focus is mostly due to the imminent closing of Grand Manner castings. I could not resist the chance to order a bunch of terrain for my Siberian table. Here are some animal pens and corrals (the cattle and horses driven into the forest by the cautious owners to avoid confiscation by any of the many marauding factions but mostly that right bastard Semenov)

Great scenery and minis! Copplestone RCW are my favorite minis for this era, the first ones I bought, and I always enjoy to see them in action!
