Pharaoh Akhenaten's famous wife was killed!

Her name translates into "The Beautiful one has come"
I leave it to you to decide, if she really is.

Or shall I say "was"...?
The shocking truth is that she was replaced by a Doppelgänger, who had killed her to become Queen!
Whether the latter came from outer space or even some more sinister dimensions will be found out on the gaming table.

Meet evil Nefer-Titty and see her in progress of dumping the poor Nefertiti's body into a pit full of hungry crocodiles.

The model is made of two cannibalized sculpts by Brother Vinni (mummy removed and rplaced by a walking Egyptian).

Thank you all for the nice comments! Now I regret that I sold the other Egyptians quite some time ago. Painting flesh instead of cloth and webbing saves a lot of time... lol

Awesome job!  :o

Any advice on painting that much flesh on 15mm minis? I've got a Trojan War project and I'll probably add some 'nubile slave girls' to the camp/command stands.

Failing that, any general advice on painting flesh on any scale minis? I'm guessing various thinned/washes would do the trick but I'm more familiar painting minis with more clothes! :D

My recipe is a dark skin tone (I prefer Vallejo parasite brown) for a basecoat. Then I work from dark to light in layers. 3-5 should do for 15mm miniatures. The ones shown here have 7 layers and are 28mm. I prefer painting layers rather than using washes, because I have better control of blending the transitions doing so. I simply add a drop of white onto the palette and mix it with the basic paint. Increase the amount of white for lighter shading layers and set final highlight with almost white. Highlights are set according to an assumed zenithal lighting source.
My only attempt yet on a 15ish is this H0 scale (1/87th scale) miniature:
