Good UK Based 3D Printer companies?

Hi Folks,

With the demise of Badger printing, can anybody recommend to me some good UK based 3D printers?

There's a ton on Etsy, but I've had very mixed fortunes with those.

You can pick-up a good 3D printer for very little these days, cheaper than having someone else do it for you.

Of course, it all depends on how many things you want printed.

Not as mixed as my experience with the crooks at Badger. Took $200+ and then folded less than a month later. Hard to believe they didn't see that coming.

Not UK based but this chap does excellent prints and he also has an Etsy store. Always had very good service from him.

I've so far contacted 6 'printers' who advertised figure printing via web searches and had zero come back to me but I did find that CNC Universe on eBay https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/cncuniverse do good 15mm prints but I'm unsure if they do bespoke work outside of their eBay offerings.

Irongate https://irongatescenery.co.uk/ are good BUT watch out if you are scaling things, I've had very thin prints (ankles on animals spring to mind) returned when 28s were printed at 15mm. The figures are super detailed and correctly printed but unusable on the table.

Possibly go through show trader listings and see if there are any contactable...

The other thought I had is to try https://only-games.co/ and see if the STL creator is present or happy for them to print their wares.
