Perrys can be cost effective if you buy the 10 man marching packs as your base starting point.

Our project is a skirmish  game with about 24 figures a side: so we wanted  a variety of poses mostly  shooting, loading etc rather than a unit marching.
If we like the scale though, you never know where it might go from here...
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.
