Who uses MGH on the bases of their horse models?
« on: February 16, 2025, 10:14:08 PM »
I have some ancient period, I think, horses with MGH and numbers on their bases. Does anyone know the manufacturer? Thank you.
He that trades Liberty for Security will soon find that he has neither.

A picture would help!

It would just be a picture of MGH and a number. There's no iconography of any sort.

A picture of the horse might let us guess at the sculptor/manufacturer?

Mongol Golden Horde? Could be anything though, at least a picture of the horse would help ID the period as you're not sure that they are ancient.

no they're not, I use it for my stuff...

no idea if that link will work, but click the my gallery bit and you'll need to create a folder before you can upload anything, and the multi image upload has never worked for me (but then I use my phone, it may work fine on a pc), but it's easy enough...

Who puts MGH on their horses? The clever drug smuggler who knows that the police will need to look twice for the ones marked MDMA, the ones with the prize inside. ;)

They look a bit like Dixons, but I can't see any with that code on the website.

Are they cataphract horses?

I tried Dixon as well but couldn't find anything. I also looked at QT but they seem to have QT on the bases. Yes I think they are catafract or clibanari horses.
