That is building towards a lovely terrain/objective piece.
Little practical "need" for something like this but such things always improve the look of games tables.

I agree mate.   But games to me should be remembered experiences.

My personal memories of games are enhanced when playing over well thought out tables  which are full of detail.   I have all the minis and fighting vehicles I need really, but I enjoy the “world creating” side of the hobby so I’m happy to spend time building bits of scenery.

Very nice!

I keep hearing the earworm Midnight at the Oasis. Doubt there will be any arguments about t-shirt sales at this gig though. :)

Cheers for saying so.    Maybe though I just have more time on my hands to churn it out though!

Decided I will not glue in the staff / desks etc when they are painted….and may simply mount them on some planking to be inserted as and when.  I realise this can be used as is to supplement my archeological site or simply as cover for a fuel dump / ammo dump etc.   May as well get some multi use from it.

I just 3D printed a couple of typewriters today to use as scatter for a table like this. I had to rescale it at just 5% of the original fime but it vame up well for a guess. Now to persuade a friend to assemble the Enigma digitally so I can print it.
Cheers,

Available time is always a killer.
Good call on the multi use piece.  Should make placing and painting the staff easier too.

Does anyone know the dimensions of the Enigma machine? The print files I have found are quite large (as was the typwriter). Easy enough to rescale in the slicer but knowing the dimensions would help.

 According to wiki

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enigma_machine#Explanatory_notes

The Wehrmacht Enigma ( model G )

The machine measured 28 cm × 34 cm × 15 cm (11.0 in × 13.4 in × 5.9 in) and weighed around 12 kg (26 lb)
