Great stuff.

While I am enjoying my ongoing campaign in County Road Z, this ruleset looks too much fun to ignore.

nozza_uk, thanks for those links, I've bought the two Hayland terrain sets, cheers.

...and many thanks to all of you who commented on my AAR. We had another game yesterday and I hope to post here very soon with another AAR.

County Road Z has road trip, page 155

For sure there are many good skirmish game rules about these days.

That was a great read. Sorry to take so long to comment, but I was away in Ecuador and the Galapagos for a couple weeks on holidays.

I was looking forward to one of your style AARs for these rules, and you guys did not disappoint. Love the characters and the way you transitioned it to rural Britain. Poor Chulmleigh...he was a brave lad and tied up lots of zombies so his mates could survive...  :'(  :'(

Grubman -- great to see you on the forum! You're giving lots of people heaps of fun with your rules...!

Thanks, Mike.

Sounds like a great holiday.

I'm glad you enjoyed the report. A second report is due here soon. In the meantime, I'll post the scenario and set-up, as a teaser!

With Smiler driving, the other three chaps tried to formulate a plan, as they left the vicinity of Uncle Denzil Penberthy’s cabin.

“The army”, ejaculated Foggy, explosively. “What do you mean, ‘the army’, you pillock?” replied Compo.

“We need some more guns, don’t we?” says Foggy. “Where better than an army camp to get guns. If the squaddies have all turned into zombies, they might have wandered off, leaving us just to pick up what we want”.

It was the best plan they could come up with and looking on their map, they saw there was an army camp near Cokehampton. Cokehampton Army Camp, to be precise, perched on a hill above the town of Cokehampton.

Optimistically, they directed Smiler in the direction of Cokehampton. What could possibly go wrong?

The set-up viewed from each side. The oil drum stack in the middle replaces the fifth building in the scenario map. The surrounding rocks define the 2' x 2' playing area.

This shows the search locations and spawn point.

...and the team, with a couple of replacement figures.

As usual, we rolled on the 'What Happened' table and gained a Molotov Cocktail, which Foggy promptly took possession of. As stated before, what could possibly go wrong? (AAR to follow soon)

Yeah, given that there is an oil drum stack in the middle of the camp, what could go wrong with a Molotov Cocktail?  lol

Yep - been there, seen that in games before...

I'll be waiting for this report.  But is that a BAR I see in Smiler's grubby little mitts hands?

Loving this, Last of the Summer Wine or Open All Hours, on a Sunday evening just before going back to School on a Monday Morning. Memories indeed.

I have just downloaded Zombie RV, but I will move it into the future a little, as befits my terrain collection. And going by your fabulous adaptation.
I am currently thinking, either the Spice Girls or Scooby Doo as my background?

Can't wait for the next episode. I wonder if Compo ever has to take his wellies off, would this put off or more probably even attract zombies lol

Good luck
