Battle of Germantown 1777 Partizan Display
« on: 19 May 2025, 05:18:23 PM »

https://yarkshiregamer.blogspot.com/2025/05/germantown-1777-and-2025-at-partizan.html

I haven't blogged for a long time but I've put up a post on my recent Germantown game at Partizan yesterday.

We used 28mm figs from Foundry and Perry with British Grenadier rules. A hard fought contest which the British won in the end. Full details on link above.

Looks like a great game and lovely to hear that your friend's figures got passed on and still get to see time on the table.

Apologies for not coming over and chatting at Partizan - I was working on the Perry table (working? what am I like - I was commanding the German division in a French v Spanish confrontation) and didn't notice you were only a couple of tables away, despite having trudged the length of the hall at least twice, looking for a Spanish set of Silver Bayonet figures.  Very impressed with what I saw of your set-up - not least that you managed to include the outbuildings that were a key part of the Chew House "complex".

Will you be taking this game to any other shows this year?
No plan survives first contact with the dice.

No plans as yet to take the game elsewhere, its one of those ready in a moment games so you never know.
