Cobblestone road

Ciao!

During my last raid in the DIY store, I found an incredible stuff to model cobblestone roads.
It is an insulation sheet, to be put between the heather and the wall.
And, as you can see from the pictures, it models incredibly well a cobblestone road.
In the pictures there is the before (silver)/after (painted) version.
I did a quick test, applying a medium grey first coat, and then weathering and ageing it.
I have to try again, next time with a black coat.

Looking good! I have used textured wallpaper so far but this looks better

Quite interesting.

Is the material porous? I was thinking of spraying painting it with black primer.

@Rev. Aubrey - the printed side is not porous. As you can see in the first picture, it is coverede by a thin aluminium sheet. I sprayed it with medium grey, with no problem.

aluminum is porous btw and holds paint pretty well - unless very fine polished

That looks like a good size cheers. Oddly they look fine next to the 28mm figure but rather large next to the vehicle, no idea why.
