Like many others I grabbed a box set for the Barons War. I managed to get the first two units painted. Not aiming for award winning paint jobs but as usual, quantity has a quality of its own.
Some Peasants and a group of Knights to start.

Off to a great start!  Get-them-on-the-table quality painting is a mighty good painting level.
 
The polishings up of the new 2nd edition has definitely made the game more tempting.  My painting queue overfloweth right now, but I'm hoping someone will start putting on games at the FLGS.

Have to say right now I have painted more minis for this than anything else this past year!   Quite captivating….and I get to play my first games today too!
