Hi guys

Something new for me, a 10mm British North African commission finished, models are metal and from arrowhead miniatures, and are quite nice, whenever I enjoy a commission I inevitably am drawn to start my own project, but this time I will resist, I already have WWII in 4 scales.

 Hi guys

I love German MC troops, and have done a few projects converting Italeris plastic Dak MC into rubberised coats using old school putty and conversion techniques, which obviously takes some time, so I thought I would put together a set that I could print using parts from Just some miniatures excellent recent MC set, and other parts, I have done enough for 12 each of the drivers, sidecar passengers and pillion passengers, I also put together some dismounts. I will add these to some I had already started converting the old fashioned way, now all my various German projects can receive MC recon troops.

Quite amazing work as usual. Do you have any tips for a beginner trying to put decals on very uneven surfaces. I particularly struggle to make aerial identification stars on allied Sherman turret tops and Halftrack hoods :?
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

Planning, and decal softener, I use a Vallejo softener, firstly look at where the decal will go, you may need to cut the decal into parts to get it to sit correctly, the apply as normal, make sure you have glossed the surface, then coat in the decal softener, and leave over night, the softener dissolves the carrier film and the decal sinks into all the ridges etc.

That is an impressive hoard. Steve McQueen would have had no chance if they'd been stationed near Stalag Luft III.

Great movie, they just don’t make them like they used to.

Great painting and conversion work. I'm always amazed by
the quality and quantity of your work.
I hope to see the 21st Panzer figures in the future.
The commission was for a friend of mine and I know he
is very happy with them.

With the interruption of LAF, I couldn’t thank you properly. I now know what I did wrong… it was mainly due to my impatience, as usual ;D

Thanks for the tips
