Good stuff!!!

Unless you want a factory fresh look, I think a few chips and scrapes would really make these pop.

thanks for sharing :)

Nice work on the models.  Very intimidating, yet with all that body armour isn't an unprotected head asking for a snipers bullet or shell fragments?

Agreed, I have three of the heavy weapons ones with uber panzershrecks mounted across the shoulders, their heads are very low and armoured, (standard figure).

Need to finish them off but no time currently, in DAK colours and very very weathered!

Nice idea for these but echo the head issue, maybe you could still mount the metal guards that go over the heads if they came with them?

It looks really cool, but yeah, that exposed head seems impractical.

Which ones are those Commander V?
Looking forward to seeing them finished with your usual skills!

The Prince August stuff is quite reasonable, price wise isn't it?

I have looked at their ranges before.

I like the exposed heads.  It may not be that "realistic" but it gives the miniatures more character and recognition factor, plus it probably makes them more fun to paint.

If your WWWII setting is very "gritty" then maybe it might look a bit daft but I really like the exposed head look.  It seems perfectly feasible in a setting like the Incursion one (is that the Secrets of the Third Reich setting?).

Did the pose and shape of those figures remind anyone else of the Golden Army from Hellboy 2?  Thats a good thing in my book.

These ones:

Yeah when I get some time I will finish them as they taunt me from the painting table.

Perhaps the suits have a 'localized' protective electronic screen against kinetic projectiles, that might explain the 'bare' heads.

Might be interesting to see such depicted as a clear or color-tinted 'glass' bubble-fishbowl fitted to encase the model's head.

Very nice indeed, mild but polite envy at your skills.
