Really nice paintjob, Jim :)

How do you rate the minis when it comes to details and varying the poses?

Hi Silversixx, thanks very much.

They are really nicely detailed, fun to paint and go together well,

my only complaint is that certain arms only go with certain other arm/body combos, so if you're not careful you get some slightly odd poses,

but that's a fairly minor problem, lots of spare parts on the sprues to,for conversions.

jim

Nice work. They do look like fun figures to paint 8)
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

Apart the beautiful painting, they are really nice figures.
I should think to start buy some additions to my Dark Ages range,
mine is mainly of old Citadel.

They look like pretty good figures and the paint-job is first class! I especially like the way you've shaded the shields.
They seem to be very different in style from the "traditional" metal GB Vikings I have, but I think they'd still work well together. I assume being plastic it would be simple enough to alter the arms to get rid of those odd poses and give more variants.

The only thing I'm slightly dubious about is their rather short hair. I prefer my Vikings to look more like tooled-up 80's metal bands, but adding some flowing greenstuff locks under their helmets should be easy enough.

Sadly I have too many Vikings already, but I can't wait for GB to bring the Saxons out.....  ;D
