Will they be made of plastic or metal?
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

Oh lordy! One of my favourite cavalry types. Not as useful as the standard harquebusier in strictly historical games, but fantastic as a General's bodyguard etc.

Purely by chance I've found an old Foundry dismounted cuirassier which I've started painting. By the time he's finished, they should be released  lol

Hmm. Can't say I'm greatly taken with the Warlord ECW plastics so far, but from that little glimpse, he does look rather good...

The detail on his armour certainly appears to be up to the Perry standard. That barred helmet visor is lovely. I can see 30 Years War Imperialist players getting rather excited if the minis match the green sculpt  :)

Agreed, mate. This one has something very appealing about him, however, I must say.

It appears that they will be metal with plastic horses, like the dragoons.  8)

What's mostly putting me off are the horses. They are an issue for many modellers, but Warlord's have only two - also quite static - poses and suffer from a lack of detail. Since the mount is a major focus point for cavalry, that's a no go for me. Fingers crossed that the cuirassiers (who look very promising so far) will get their own horses.

Nice.  Although, if I were the cornet, I'd be sneaking to a rear rank and riding behind a big guy.............

Maelstrom have them on pre-order ATM.
