Shop fronts: reasonable source for pictures of London shop fronts... ideal for modelling I reckon even though quite a few have street furniture in the way.

Is the first picture funky and cold  :D

I've found that just walking around any area in London is great for inspiration from anywhere from Edwardian to modern.

If you walk around Billingham (north-east England) you can find inspiration for a post apocalyptic landscape of devastation and decay. Think Sarajevo c. 1990 but not a bit more run down, and with lower property values.

Are you sure you're not confusing Billingham with Hull?
