Astounding Adventures #1 (July 1937), the fake magazine of pulp scenarios, is out!

Story on TMP here -

http://theminiaturespage.com/news/619774/

There are six scenarios, written for my own AstoundingTales!

Cunningly, there are sections on how to convert the scenarios to .45 Adventure, Rugged Adventures and To Be Continued by GASLIGHT. That way you can use these pulse racing pulp adventures with your favourite rules set.

I like the idea of a conversion section for the other game systems, sadly you left the only one I normally play (Chaos in cairo) out...

That's a good point. I asked the writers of those rules for conversion ideas at relatively short notice - I know them all and count them as pals. I don't know the designer(s) of Chaos in Cairo  (wonderful fellows no doubt!) and I didn't think about asking them. In fact, I didn't remember their system at the time -- my apologies. Maybe for the next edition!

However, I think that most Lead Adventurers could figure out thie own conversions fairly easily, being resourceful chaps and all!

Got a link to a website that sells the book? The TMP article is a dead end.

BTW the TVAG website appears to be DOA. Is anyone else having the same problem?

Update: Site is back up now. The TVAG site doesn't list it as available yet but here is a link to the page for it on the site

Try the TVAG site. Patrick's not always up on getting new stuff on his site, but he's very friendly and helpful if you contact him.

Got mine too. And I'm living halfway round the world ;-) Thank you muchly

I plainly love the commercial from Wally Wormturner (Page 29). I had a laughing fit at that one. Marvelous. The magazine too.

I got mine yesterday and love it!  The period advertisements and pulp covers are fantastic.  Can't wait for my copy of Astounding Tales to get here... it is coming from over the pond so is going to take longer... hehehe!
