Renegade WW2 and Artizan/Black Tree

Hi,
Can anyone tell me how compatible Renegade WW2 figs are in comparison to Artizan and Black tree?anyone got a picture or the ranges side by side?

Leaving aside the size factor the Renegade figures are totally different style wise.My personal opinion is they are grotesque,I sold mine in the Cold Wars Flea Market and lost half my money to get someone to buy them.
I like a lot of the Renegade stuff,used to have a all Renegade ECW army,painted and sold 3 WW1 armies and have ordered some Napoleonic British and will order more at the end of the month.But the WW2 stuff is really,really bad.
I'd go with Bolt action and/or Crusader with Artizan and Black Tree ,I mix all four no problem(the Bolt Action are slightly more slight )

I've got a fair bit of their WW1 stuff.They are having another regiment sale and I was going to 'fill out' some of the WW2 stuff I already have.Thought the price was nice but if the figs are poor then I won't bother. Thanks

That's what my plan was when I got mine but I was sorely disapointed.I went with Crusader in stead.With my old Glory army card they were pretty cheap too especially in the unit boxes.Course if your not in the US they are more exspensive.
Like I said it's just my opinion somebody may come along who doesn't mind the Renegade WW2.

I bought a bunch of WW1 German stuff during a sale to paint as WW2 Hungarians. Figures look ok, we'll see what happens when I haul them out and start working on them. Now if only someone would make some 28mm Hungarian tanks...

I got Renegade WWI and WWII Germans and their quality is quite different.  I found the WWI ones to be rather nice.  A bit beefy but that's alright.  The backpacks took some cutting, filing, and reshaping, but they were nice minis.

The WWII Wehrmacht ones are pretty bad.  They are in strange positions and they are HUGE - totally out of scale with Artizan (my Wehrmacht collection is 90% Artizan). 

I find that Copplestone can barely mix with Artizan (but they can).  However, these Renegade Wehrmacht minis simply can't.

Now that being said, Warlord Games just released plastic Wehrmacht minis and those are too fragile (the weapons and hands, at least).  They are just a bit smaller than the Artizan minis.

I just built some last night and haven't painted them yet but I'll see how they look once painted up.  I think they'll scale alright with Artizan but those Renegade ones are so different that they are a different scale entirely.  Closer to 1/35 than 1/56 (which is 28mm usually).

You're welcome. I hope to be able to do  lot of updates either later this year or early next year again (real life has kept me from lots of wargames-related stuff the last 18 months or so).
