Seeking Book Recommendation Chumrades
« on: June 10, 2016, 12:23:02 AM »

I'm looking for a single volume which covers all Soviet armour and vehicles from WW2, preferably with plenty of pictures.

I've tried googling but I've been deluged with books in Russian, ради трахает, or volumes about a single vehicle.

Thanks in anticipation.

Zaloga and Grandsen Soviet Tanks of World War 2. Markings are very confusing, not really specified in any book IMHO.
Cheers,

Top recommendation, but the cheapest I've found a copy for is £35 (AUS$65+) which is more than I'd like to pay.  :?

There is a Mig Jimenez book which may cover what you want, 'Eastern Front Vehicles 1939 - 1945', it's currently offered with one of his Russian colours sets for €22. There's also one produced by AK Interactive 'Soviet War Colours 1936 - 1945' which is €21.50 direct from them.
Both of these are aimed at those looking for Soviet colour schemes, containing lots of colour pics (unsurprisingly they're aimed at painters - & I'm don't know if that's what you're after) You might find these titles cheaper elswhere if you're prepared to hunt  good luck with the project!
