Question about Rattrap Productions Deep One Hybrids

I have read in this post http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=15101.0 some things about overcharges in UK customs. The miniatures are great but I have suffered the "attack of the Royal Mail´s overcharge", £15 over the $63 of the Strange Aeons rulebook and the supplement!! The books are great but the extra £15 still hurt. I´d like to buy these miniatures but is there any way of knowing how much customs will charge for something like that?

The two sets would cost $39 with post witch is around £25, vat on that around £5 no idea of custom then the £8 handling charge, so you looking around £40 to £45.
The £25 is what I paid in the summer, I think the custom and vat is based on what they read on the outside of the package e.g the value of the item inside, so it depends what value the sender puts on the package.
Regards to buying  Strange Aeon, there are two firms  in Europe, one on eBay from Italy and http://www.battlefield-berlin.de/ with Battle Berlin ask for the postage cost as it can be cheaper then what the site states as you pay by PP bye Email and I have bought of them also and was happy with the service.

Also, if you want to order from me ask about postage. I can get the two packs into a small envelope which is cheaper to ship and since it is not a box, tends to not get the usual customs charge from what I have heard (though this is in no way guaranteed).

Thank you for your answers. I will think about this.

The problem with battlefield berlin was that they haven´t got the main rule set and it isn't on ebay either. I used to live in Spain and I never got charged customs for stuff from the US or Canada, so I wasn't expecting. I am more careful now!
