Italeri Fast-Build Panzer III as Beobachtungspanzer III
« on: October 22, 2010, 04:58:18 PM »
Italeri Fast-Build Panzer III as Beobachtungspanzer III. Additional turret schurzen and spare tracks from Revell Panzer III as well as spare tools and the barrel of a old Matchbox Sturmgeschutz IV. It is currently missing the stern antenna, I need to order a few of those for my command vehicles. I replaced the original turret pin with a magnet.
Decals from Dom's Decals, a old Hasegawa Stummel and Peddinghaus, though I had to decal those over cause they are too soft on a light background. But just painting over the number has happend before so that is ok  :D

Excellent. A mate and I are just getting into 20mm gaming, so this kinda thing is perfect inspiration. The Italeri kits look lovely. I'm doing Russians so I'll have to get hold of some of their Soviet stuff.

Amazing work on this, by the way.

Yes me too largely thanks to Wayswatcher, Frank and Agis - damn you for getting me to start a new scale!  :D
As an aside what rules do you use?

Well we're gonna be using Flying Lead to start with for some small scale stuff. But I intend to buy Rules of Engagement very soon, along with the Eastern Front and Armour supplements! :D
