Slannesh Knights Commission

Finished a unit of 5 Slannesh Chaos Knights for a commission.  Client brought a unit of chaos warriors from me on ebay that I had painted a year or so ago and wanted these painted to the same standard as those so they are pretty decent but not my best work....they surely won't win me a Golden Demon, but one has to comply with one's client's wishes and he is happy with them.  All that said they aint bad, they just could be so much better

Nice group shot, any chance of some close ups of single models before the gallop off to your client?

Out of interest what are you using for the snow basing?

Sorry my friend no close ups are going to be possible they have already gone to him.

Snow I do using water, PVA glue and bicarbonate of soda, mix it into a reasonably think paste and then paint it on, thickness of the mix will determine the kind of snow, play with it to get different results

Yeah I know I suck....I was too excited about getting my first commission off to the client I forgot to take some decent pictures.

But he loves them so all is good

Whoa, these are very nice! (Somehow I missed them earlier.) The over-all effect of the snow and the purple highlights really make me think "cold".
