Hi !
« on: January 18, 2011, 01:03:25 PM »
Hi,

This is my first post in this forum  :)

One year ago, I bought miniatures from Hasslefree but I did not know how to play with them because, at this time, I only played WH40K and board games like Space Hulk, …. But past December, I read the Pulp article in Vae Vicitis (Theme 4) and then I found Rattrap Productions and this forum full of very good ideas and creations!
Now, I know exactly what I will do with them !!!  :D
I wait impatiently for the new edition of 45A…..

My miniatures are inspired from “Bob Morane” French novels created in the 1950ies. Presently there are more than 200 books of exotic adventures, espionage, time-travels, parallel worlds…. 45A rules will fit perfectly with the scenarios.

Below some pictures. Three heroes : Bob Morane and his friends Bill Ballantines and Sophia Paramount and three villains : the Yellow Shadow, Miss Ylang-Ylang and the Tiger-man.

I will buy also four other heroes (Armed archeologists from Copplestone) and a grade 1 Chinese bandits squad (from Foundry).

Welcome to LAF,

Nice selection of miniatures, they're a breath of fresh air after GW stuff eh? Quite different to paint. Like yourself I'm eagerly awaiting 2nd edition of .45A. I'm also looking forward to see what else your going to paint up.

Cheers
Andy

Thank You.

As far as I have read, 45A seems very fun and, as you said, very "fresh". And probably quicker to learn than WH40K, especially the Tau Empire I play. My gamer friends are also enthousiastic to try it. I think that what I will like for example are the Encounter cards. It makes me think about the Adventure Cards in Talisman I played 20 years ago.

45A is definitely my new project for the coming years !
Only 12 days to wait before the publication of the V2 (some pressure for Rattrap) ;)
