Knuckleduster
« on: 03 February 2011, 02:55:20 AM »
Just received my first order from Knuckleduster in the US. I must say very good, fast service; great figures (I'm very pleased) and the Cowtown Creator book was an excellent purchase (I can't believe how much info there is in this book!...Wow). Thanks Knuckleduster!

PS just one question - does anyone know who is who in the Cowtown Caos Pack? I know which one is gambler, and Wild Bill Hickock, but which ones are the others?

Just working on my google fu
Texas Jack - there were several "Texas Jack" characters from the Wild West.
Texas Jack Omohundro - was a scout/cowboy
Texas Jack Vermillion - Old West Gunfighter - supposedly rode w/ Wyatt Earp at one time.
I would say Texas Jack is wearing the buckskins
Billy Thompson - was drunk when he killed Whitney w/ a shotgun so he shud be the fella holding a bottle and shotgun.
Sheriff Whitney - I'd use the fella with the cross-draw holster

OK Thanks! Yeah I had guessed the same with the Buckskin wearing guy - but Omohundro was an actor not a gunfighter (?). The one with the badge must be the sheriff. Nice figures though. Thanks!

Omohundro was all three. Scout/actor/cowboy

Cowtown creator is a fantastic book. Amazingly interesting, I can't recommend it more.

Whats in the book?

Easier to ask "what's not in the book".

Basically it contains everything you need to recreate an authentic Western town in miniature.

Except for the models themselves, of course  ::)

Very highly recommended!   :D
