Hello to all

I am a "butterfly" gamer, constantly flitting from period to period, but always coming back to the colonial era.  I mostly play at skirmish level, but do some big battle ancients, napoleonic and colonial.

I am a huge fan of Two Hour Wargames Rules and Ambush Alley Games Rules but also play the Ganesha "Song of" rules, DBA and Crossfire.

My collection is a suitable hotch potch of scale and period and I am always in a state of "rationalisation" that sees me end up with more, rather than less figures!  I do a fair bit of "coffee table" gaming at home on 2 foot square (or smaller) boards either solo or with my kids but we also have a 5 foot by 3 foot table for larger games.  If I can work out how to post some pics of our games, I will.

Anyhow, I'm pleased to join the group and look forward to exploring the site.

As far as posting pictures, the easiest way is to sign up on an image hosting site (I use Photobucket, but there are many others). Most of them are free to use, so you just upload your pics and put the IMG code in your post. Easy cheesy.

Anyway, have fun browsing the site!

Thanks for the welcome, everyone.  I got the name Thorfin from a school project about Vikings 25 years ago!
