9th Naples

Hi all,

finally I have finished this commission. It's a perry Plastic Box which represents the 9th Naples. You only have to cut away the stripes from the arm of the drummer and change the eagle banner with a spear-pole (which will be added from the customer). Also, you should remove the shako emblem and put on a square, or you simple use the heads with the shako cover as I did.

Here's the colour table for them:

For the mediterean flesh I used Vallejo Red leather and then Foundry mediterean Flesh B then C. It's quite tricky to paint so much white, but I undercoated the soldiers with the uniforms with white and then appllied two washes of black wich is a kind of black lining. I have also undercoated the parts like metal and otherblack areas. As the purple and the brown stuff is really dark too, I didn't put any extra black undercoat on them as the basic colour would be dark enough.

Hope you like them,
Stephan

I enjoyed looking at those, thank you

Lovely painting on this scruffy lot! I love Vallejo's red leather!
