I don't think it is so bad. if you are happy to use Brigade or Foundry next to your Copplestones, Musketeer should not be a problem. plus they almost paint themselves.

Good challenge.  Did you saw the heads off or just the Glengarrys?

Depends on the mini. Mr Hicks make some very nice individual features and expressions on his miniatures which I sometimes want to keep. On the other hand those Wolseleys, quite accurately, are so fucking wide they hide the faces anyway.

By the way I boosted my Scots with the GWM Higlander Early war command set just to get another bagpiper in kilt. I have a surplus of officers now.

.... are you up for a challenge???
PM me... we need to talk. ;)

Photos of the London Scots in Palestine show them wearing Wolseley helmets AND Tam-o-shanters.... Oh, the possibilities!

I've used Musketeers Early WW1 Scots and supplied them with Wolseleys.

Thanks for posting this image, Hammers. I've wondered for a while if the heads would match for size. Question now answered in the positive.

Regarding that particular mini, since it is chuging on a flask, I cut of just the glengarry away, carved away the neck and face from the Woodbine head and glued the Wolseley where the glengarry had been.

Yeah... I'd do the same. Paul Hick's faces are great. Must have been a lot of work? Good result and worth it.

The Great Highlanders have covers on the Kilts, some of the command figures don't though
Here's the one I did as , not great pictures though.

The Musketeer figures are by far the better miniature's though.

Agree with all that, however size - gentleman - matters lol

Officers tended not to wear the covers as they had batman to scrape the shit off!

Thanks again

Steve
