Scratch built Indian Longhouses FIW
« on: 26 April 2011, 10:47:43 PM »
I've been busy building trying to build some Indian Longhouses for my FIW armies, as these are my first efforts into making buildings, I'm very pleased with the results.

Those are good, and even more so given how they're your first bash.

I like those alot. Scratch building stuff is the best. I think I enjoy that the most making something out of nothing.
You should be happy with yourself on those.

Mine are 25/28mm and I was working on some plans for Longhouses this week along the lines of making the ends from 2mm ply or styrene sheet and then putting the initial profile on with thin styrene sheet. Bark woukld be the famous "paper tree wrap" if I can find some and the latice work of branches to keep every thing in place from greenstuff/kneadite.
