A Yithian sculpt! :)
« on: July 31, 2011, 03:04:31 PM »
Here is a sculpt of a Yithian hero I am working on, he needs to be cleaned up a bit - and I am thinking of having an alternate arm to replace the lightning gun-arm holding an ancient Tome. He's about 32mm tall.

Y'liit - Veteran of the Flying Polyp Wars :

If anyone thinks he's good enough theres a chance he could get cast in plastic.
Primevel Abyssian - A WIP wargame about alien races in an artificial universe :

inspired by Olaf Stapledon and Robert L Forward ect

Interesting...
I think the gun is a bit too blandly gun-like... I mean it looks like a gun made for/by humans... not particularly suited to that critter.

Something more organic would probably be better for the gun. Otherwise great sculpt.

I agree with the comments about the gun, but great work otherwise
They were all drawn to the Keep; the soldiers who brought death; the father and daughter fighting for life; the people who have always feared it; and the one man who knows its secret....

The scale is 10 or 15 mm I suppose ? The great Race of Yith (in the HPL fiction at least) is a lot taller than humans (about 3 times IIRC).

Apart from that - nice sculpting.
I like my games like my orange juice: pulpy with no added sugar or artificial sweeteners
