From the casting thread, it might be easier to just make as many of these in putty as you'll need, seriously. 

If not, the Alumilite casting kit should suffice if you're ok with resin.  You should only need a 1-part mold for this, so it should be pretty straightforward.  I'd totally walk you through it if it were 10 years ago when I had the kit and you were local.

If you could add more depth the to back of the box and maybe add a handle on the top that would help to change the look significantly enough?
