creature or phantom?
« on: 01 February 2008, 08:41:02 PM »
I recently came across the reaper classic horror series (frankenstein's monster, dracula and wolfman) and it made me wonder if anyone had ever done any mini's of creature from the black laggon, phantom of the opera, or any other universal monsters?

and are there other nosferatu beside blue moon or west wind?

thanks!

Ditto, BTW I know that Heresy's take on a few things of late have impacted on GW heavily, Paull Muller's ghouls made them redefine their new ghouls release heavily, (which is naff to be honest) and no one does half vamp/bat form better than Heresy, the new vampire count with a wing is bloody awful!

I thought I'd seen a creature from the black lagoon, i'll dig through my links.

Dr Frankenmuller, the monster and the hunchback assistant can be found here, great sculpts well worth having.

There's a squarer more frankie head too!

Cheers

IIRC Eureka did a creature from the black lagoon but it may have gone the way of those fantastic Stargate bits they did.

They have a movie monster section or similar and I can remember seeing the fly - cant get on their site to check from here.

You can make a nice fly (brundleflyesque) from the GW chaos spawn sprue, good multi-facetted fly head and suitable twisted torso.

Citadel did a not-The Creature from the Black Lagoon in the 80's. He was a great model. I converted one to play on my Universal BB team.

He's hard to see in the picture but under their Night Horrors range he's #130427.
