Looks good! This is part 1 of a trilogy. Released May 3, 2010. There's a clip here:

Part 2 = Axis of War: My Long March will be released later this month - May 24, 2010.

No mention of when Part 3 will be released.

Part one is now in Poundland.

At just £1 a copy it looks worthwhile....

Johnno, do you want a copy posting to you?

You can get them a lot cheaper than £10. Even part two. They're in Chinese and subtitled quite well for the most part. Part one tells the story of the 1st of August Revolution and the second part a segment of the 'Long March' (obviously). They are state made films and consequently somewhat biased as well as containing a lot of party propaganda. As they were made for China, they seem to suppose that you know who the big names are, and the films don't explain them.

That being said, the action sequences are quite good, I suspect they use the army as extras. The weapons and uniforms are pretty accurate... with the exception of one of the commanders showing the rubber moulded soles of his riding boots in one scene. I enjoyed them, but then I'm easily pleased.

:)
